The Portcullis Certified mark shows that an organisation holds current Portcullis Certification. These rules protect the meaning of the mark for everyone who relies on it.
Who may use the mark
- Only organisations with an ACTIVE certification listed on the verification register.
- Only for the legal entity, sites and activities within the certificate's scope.
- Only while the certificate remains valid. Use must stop immediately on suspension, expiry or withdrawal.
How to use it
- Use the artwork supplied by Portcullis without alteration.
- Display the certificate number alongside the mark where practical.
- Link to the verification page where the mark is used online.
What the mark does not mean
- It does not mean Portcullis guarantees the organisation's security or conduct.
- It must not be used on products or to suggest endorsement of goods or services.
- It must not suggest certification of a site or activity outside the certificate's scope.
Misuse
Misuse of the mark may lead to suspension or withdrawal of certification. To report suspected misuse, contact Portcullis.
